The Property Coach Home Staging & Interior Redesign course

In this exhilarating 2 day weekend course you'll learn all the key elements to successfully present a property to the viewing market. Using a simple set of rules, the course takes you step-by-step through the process of looking at both individual rooms and the overall property and shows you ways of getting more from it.

Home Staging or Property Presentation aims to prepare any property for the intended market by assessing what viewers will look for during the viewing and then presenting the property to reflect this.

  • Learn what viewers look for when viewing a property.
  • Learn what issues put buyers off, and how to correct them.
  • Learn the fast ways to assess every area of the property.
  • Learn how to define the space and create visual cues to draw buyers in.
  • Learn how to minimise or remove any negative triggers that make buyers uncomfortable.
  • Learn how to handle colour when staging homes to sell.
  • Learn how to match the style of a property to the viewing market.
  • Learn how to find ways of using what you have to your best advantage.
  • How to use the subconscious triggers in viewers minds that will make them feel at home in your property.
  • How to deal with clutter, awkward spaces, dated decor, decorating dilemmas and other common barriers to a potential sale.
  • How to give a property that certain something that makes it stand out from the crowd.

 

What to expect from the Home Staging weekend course:

Expect a fun weekend of group discussions, team projects & real case studies showing before and after pictures.

No one wants to sit and be lectured at for 2 days, we all have experiences that are relevant to the learning process.

The course is designed to encourage participation in the learning/ teaching process during interactive sessions.

Sessions will be a mix of information giving, group work and exercises where you will have a chance to put into action all that you are learning.

Groups are no larger than 20.

 

What you will need for the course:

All course material will be supplied, you can come relaxed and ready to go.

During the 2 days we will do many exercises to give you practical opportunities to try out the techniques that you are discovering. With this in mind and to help you get more from the course, it is a good idea to use a room of your own to work on.

Why not come with a picture of a problem room, either yours or someone else's, this will give you an opportunity to discuss the possibilities with the group.

If you can send us a hard copy on a CD or a photograph and we can use it during one of the many interactive sessions during the course. It will be necessary for you to send the photograph at least two weeks before the start of the course to enable the pictures to be incorporated into the screen presentation. All photographs will be returned on the day.

Other than this all you need to bring is your enthusiasm.

Refreshments and lunch are provided on both days to include:

  • Coffee, tea and pastries on arrival
  • Mid morning coffee, tea & pastries
  • A working lunch where you will have an opportunity to ask specific questions and network
  • Mid afternoon coffee, tea and biscuits
  • Water & fruit throughout the day

Booking 'Terms & Conditions' and Cancellations

Delegates are advised to keep a record of these 'Terms & Conditions' for future reference.

Payment and course fee
To secure your place on the course of your choice, payment in full is required at time of booking. The course fee will cover the training, any course materials, lunch and morning & afternoon refreshments. The course fee does not cover transport or accommodation.

Cancellations by delegate
Cancellation requests must be received no later than 14 days prior to the start of the course. A full refund will be given minus £25 administration fees if cancellation takes place 14 days or more to the start of the course.

Cancellations between 1 & 14 days prior to the start of the course, a 75% refund will be given. A further £25 administration fee will be levied on the 75% refund. This covers costs associated by The Property Coach that must be paid for.

No refund will be given if cancellation takes place on the day of the course.

Course Cancellation and Content
The Property Coach retains the right to alter any aspect of the course content at any time. A minimum of 10 paying delegates is required for the course to run. The Property Coach have the right to cancel the course at any time. In this situation a full refund with out deductions will be paid.

In the event of course cancellation by the Property Coach, The Property Coach will not be liable for pre-booked travel, accommodation or other costs that delegates incur.

Course Content Rights
All course materials in all formats remain the intellectual property of the Property Coach.

No part of the course may be reproduced or reused in any form without the written permission of the Property Coach.

All locations are in smart centrally located hotels that are conveniently positioned for public transport and local amenities.
